It has been almost 5 years since I have written anything on this site. That's crazy! OMUNKY has taken a backseat in my life for the last few years, as I have focused on other projects, advanced my career, and overall enjoyed life as much as I could.
But now, I find myself wondering if I can use it to help others. We are in a situation that is so outrageous, so incredibly impactful, that we all need to step up and do whatever we can to aid in the recovery of our country. Not just our country, the world!
With that said, I would like to donate a portion of my sales to Feeding America.
Feeding America is a United States–based nonprofit organization that is a nationwide network of more than 200 food banks that feed more than 46 million people through food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other community-based agencies.
I was one of the people affected by the recent layoffs in America. I had a wonderful job (jobs when you count all the side gigs), and a wonderful quality of life, that was cut short by this pandemic. Despite my circumstances, there are people out there who are in far worse situations. Those that are starving day to day, who cannot afford the necessities to survive this crisis. I'd like to offer the only thing I can at this point, my designs.
