Operation: FUNTIME!

So you're driving along with the family in that amazing new RV you just picked up (there was an awesome sale... you HAD to get one). You notice a beautiful, open spot along the river to park your sweet ride and set up camp. Everyone is really excited to get everything up and running (except for Timmy, your middle child, who wishes he never came along on this "stupid attempt to bond with the people he can't stand." But don't worry, he'll grow out of this silly rebellious phase, or you can just send him off to boarding school because nobody likes a downer).

As you are setting up, you can't help stopping every now and then to admire the beautiful surroundings you are fortunate enough to have found. Reading those online camping blogs really helped and you were able to get everything up and running with minimal difficulty (no thanks to Timmy).

You enjoy a quiet evening with your loved ones, singing songs and telling jokes while roasting marshmallows. (Timmy sits away from the group, reading Revolver magazine and quietly humming his favorite My Chemical Romance songs. Ugh.)

Later, while the rest of your family sleeps around you, you stare at the moon reflecting off the tranquil waters, while crickets softly chirp in the background. You think about how lucky you are to have such a wonderful life and such a lovely family (except for that moody Timmy). You admire your surroundings while taking in the greatness of nature.

What you should be thinking is, "How did I luck out and find such a beautiful spot along the water?" and "How come I've never heard about this place from those camping blogs I religiously read all last month?" It never occurs to you that there is a reason this place is, at the moment, "unoccupied."
